The Weight Of Questioning

Why do we question everything but the questions?  What right do we have to second-guess God’s ways or motivations for how and when He chooses to move?   Is He the master of our motivations or are our feelings and doubts the dictators of our choices?  How can we ignore that His heart weighs more than His hand?  Yet what do we seek more often than not?

Sometimes humility and faith aren’t having all of our questions answered and problems solved. Instead, it is the meekness of turning our frustrations and impatience into passion to seek the One Who has the answer- not for the answer but just to be with and know Him.  For doubts die and trust grows the more we know Him.

At some point we run the risk of choosing not to believe by granting our questions more credence and gravity than a Heart of love that outweighs any excuse we could possibly have for doubting.  Life is much fuller, more meaningful, and less worrisome when we are overwhelmed by God’s love instead of our questions.

So, the question becomes:  what will we choose to be overwhelmed by?
